In my opinion and experience exercise does help in most cases particularly if the condition is an auto-immune.

Exercise helps with my psychological well being and helps me de-stress which in turn helps to reduce the affects of auto-immune conditions as these are usually worse when stressed.

I believe it helps as i attended a gym for a number of years & now think my skin was good then

The only slight probelm is sweat with eczema. Sweat stings the skin and makes it flare. I do think exercise is beneficial though, as it gets the lymph flowing.

I honestly do not think it works, as i am still in school during gym on hot days during the summer while i am running i seem to break out even more.

My 11 year old daughter who has atopic ezcema shouldnt exercise . When she does she goes all blotchy and itchy and goes bright red but i know exercise is vital for health so she does a little - in hospital with ezcema at the moment :(

I don't feel it 'helps' with the condition itself (vitiligo) and exercise outdoors tends to make the de-pigmentation more obvious... however the exercise is hugely beneficial to self confidence in general, and this *does* help with dealing with people's occasional rudeness or cruelty. I don't have very obvious patchiness when clothed these days, as hands and face are almost completely 'gone'... and in fact friends often forget that I need to take more than usual care of sun exposure unless I comment on it.

Exercise has been a key part of my life, and when I had a lull in fitness my skin condition would get tight and dry (Icthyosis) I feel that the increased blood flow through the body and encouraged release of toxins through sweat and movement helped manage my condition better.
