Would a brain scan prove I have neuropathic itch?

If it would prove I have neuropathic itch what would the scan show?

It is complicated. The diagnosis is costly as you need other tests including special type of skin biopsy as well. MRI may detect something but the diagnosis cannot rely just on MRI or CT.
