I have had something similar after sitting with my legs crossed in the sun.
Some possible 'Simple' explanations.... Did you somehow 'Miss' this area, when you put your Sun cream on? Did you manage, by some means, to 'rub off' the cream? Did some 'Local' irritation, an insect or a spillage perhaps, cause you to Wash that area.
I know that ALL these answers sound, completely daft/ totally stupid..... but those Keys WERE in the 'Rubbish Bin' weren't they?
I, really do, hope this is 'nothing serious'.
