Triangle shaped lesions and other odd skin issues..

Hello, Looking for some help on this. I have been to : 2 ER visits, 1 Walk-in visit, 1 primary care physician visit and one dermatologist visit. I was told i had scabies at both the ER visits and was prescribed meds accordingly wich I dutifully took/used even though I knew it wasnt that. The walk-in went even better..The Dr on call could even "See" the the scabies running around..she assured me. So then my primary care physician...was sdmittedly clueless due to the fact that hes not a dermatologist. Throughout these I was tested for Lyme, Aids and everything in between..full bloodwork twice..So off to the dermatologist..She said that I was seeing things and that I needed to stop picking at my skin. I asked for a biopsy of one of these things and she said..and I quote "I am not going waste my time and yours to do a biopsy. Do you know why? Because when it comes back negative you are still not going to believe me and you will still dig at yourself and think theres something wrong." Soooo im on Olazapine for now....wow and guess what? no changes. I have been prescribed numerous meds throughout this 3 month ordeal..So please..any info would be awesome. I have numerous pics..there are weird flakes of tightly wound skin involved with all these..they come flying out if you scrape at them..these triangle shapes are consistent in shape only..some are large some are tiny..they have a "head" a "middle"opening and two openenings at the bottom. There are hard hair like protrusions that are in a 'U' shape around the "Head". like 8-10 of them usually...lots more pics, and info if you ask. TY

I'm going through this now, have been seeing issues July 4th, 2018, 6 long months and I'm still not having any luck clearing this up. It's literally driving me crazy and I don't know what to do anymore. If anyone has any advice or any questions for me, PLEASE 🙏 feel free to ask me. I'm new to this site, so I may take a moment to remember how to get back to the same place but I figure it out one way or another.

Oh, my question for you... Did you figure out what was going on with you and I hope & 🙏 that you was able to get answers & treatment to cure your health issue. I know I am in desperate need of some help. I would even take care from a medical care system for me to be put into the hospital until I am cured. That's how bad it is & makes me feel. I do hope 🙏 you are cured by this infection or problem. God Bless you.

I have had the same problem and have had doctors telling me i am hallucinating . it is a flatworm . I have captured some . it is some sort of triangular flatworm that lives off of blood and body fluids .

Needingreliefnow profile image
Needingreliefnow in reply toRyanForester77

I definitely believe You were on right track...makes sense because flatworms rejuvenate themselves ....so if u pick at youself and leave even alittle peice in your skin it regrows.....wish i had the answers....for 3 yrs ive suffered from this and we are not alone ive spent countless hrs teading post after post of almost identical stories....thousands of posts and no one to help

I've had this for the past month. My right forearm is covered, left arm is not as bad...and they're on my lower legs (Its embarrassing to go out unless I wear long sleeves and pants) . Sometimes there is not a hard covering on these rounded triangle lesions but a soft scab with one or two little raised ovals. I've taken one off and saw they were little elliptical brown shells. I've been to a walk in clinic 4 times...E.R twice...First it was cellulitus...then contact dermatitis..then no diagnosis at all ( I asked to have an x-ray or mri of my arm to see what was going on and was refused...the only thing they did was visually look at it, and one DR at walk-in clinic had to google it [and came back w/ cellulitus]...antibiotics on all counts and none of em helped..Last Time at the E.R I was escorted by two hulking security guards to the E.R lobby from the room I was in and told by the E.R Dr "you were told what the diagnoses was , and for the record i'll add that you stop using I.V drugs and stop the self mutiation...I couldn't believe what I just heard. Then he added "And don't cause a scene or have any violent outbursts on your way out"..Now my primary Dr. of 11 years won't see me because "Delusional...I.V drug user..and Psychosis" are on my Med records. The IV drug thing is what pissed me off...I've never done anything like that and I can't stand to get a shot let alone give myself one...I have hand tremors due to bilateral neurapathy…

Anyways..I started looking into it myself...thought tapeworm at first...but i'm not having any stomach or intestional symptoms...So I checked out the lesions and saw that there was a really thin...flat...worm (?) that was just beneath the out edge of the entire lesion..I tried to take it off but...that was painful as hell..like having a folded piece of rough sandpaper raked across raw skin....and all I got was a small piece of it for my trouble...It was anchored to were it was at pretty good. And it looked like other spots have 1 or 2 coiled up a bit deeper... They've started on the right side of my face now (starting to look like a leper I guess. I Looked into this some more and came across Filarial worm parasites...so now its on to researching that...I'll post an update if I have any luck.

Please let me know what you find. So far a combination of Maca, large amounts of cayenne and turmeric are helping - at least to heal

Sounds identical to me. Try lightly rolling moistened tobacco (like a half inch off a cigarette & yes, I know it sounds nuts) and they bind so fast and move into the moist tobacco it's hard to believe but with a magnifying glass you will see what appears tobe enlarged pores qhere the exit your skin. No picking, no pain and the lighter the better which has been a relief. It took a very long time to realize they were making up the outer ring of my sores and not just dead skin. I am able to keep them at bay now but still no cure. DIATOMACEOUS EARTH - FOOD GRADE is what im trying next.

I think you should sue that doctor. That was uncalled for, humiliating and just wrong. He has damaged your reputation to the extent even your doctor refuses to see you.

Has anyone had any luck as to figuring out what this is??? I wonder if anyone else is maybe taking any of the same medications as me, or how it started ? Maybe we can all figure it out together... I don’t know what to do... what I do know is that they are Fibrins. And that a couple days ago I had one of these Fibrins gliding across my arm, it looked like a yellow fibrin moving like a worm across my arm and I grabbed it and squeezed it and took a pic of it. But to be honest it doesn’t really look like anything...

Hello all my fellow sufferers. I think I may have the/A solution to our predicament.

I have e Type 2 diabities. Part of my care involves a podiatrist. Any way...I saw one for the first time (since developing this what ever). She took one look @ my legs and feet and told me.....wait for it....

A white fungal infection.

Because I couldn't get a DX from the numerous Doctors, Specialists, and hospitals it has spread all over. Since the initial DX was wrong (SCABIES) and was given, a contra indicated treatment for fungus (permitherian cream) and months of steroids and antibiotics (also contra indicated) the fumgus took off.

I have been on prescription antifungal pills and cream for 3 months now. This week I have finally started to see them start healing. It can take a long time before they are fully irradicated.

1) Get tested for WHITE FUNGAL INFECTION

2) Don't wash your socks with anything else.

3) Where loose fitting clothes and change socks At least once a day

4) Shower daily.

I hope this helps...keep me posted everyone.

I believed thus was what caused my problem as a year long treat.ent with high doses of fluconazole for valley fever began to improve my symptoms. But I have now ifficially seen them move and I am unsure if candida can move like a worm. Back to drawing board I suppose.

I have (almost 2 classes shy) a bachelor's degree in bio-chem. Wanna know my self diagnosis it's called triangles berry similar to morgellons it is indeed a parasite it causes extreme chronic fatigue syndrome, restless leg syndrome, memory problems, balance and coordination problems and most dangerously it swells the lineing of your brain which can also cause a slight delusional frenzies and or some other minor mental illness unless you were already mentally ill then it will make it 1000x worse than usual but not consistently just on occasion. The triangles are a micro organism that feeds off what ever the hell they can find pretty much I do not believe they have much preference other than they do not like yeast because I have tried many times to actually give my self an infection on my soars caused by the triangles and I s impossible I sware put feces on your own soars I you don't believe me and it will never get infected meaning with (different than what it already has) puss, foul odor, extra swelling and pain, however, it may get at one point or another get a yeast build up and/or infection. That is my reasoning for saying the only this im assuming that the triangles don't eat is yeast but they do eat the infection causeing bacteria/germs/viruses and dead or infected cells before that spread. They don't like ice being put on them they will come out of your skin if you do that but you will never get them all out nothing kills them as far as I can tell and they reproduce sooooo fast that you'll never catch up if you did find something that killed them they are a-sexual and bi-sexual so they reproduce faster than normal species with sexual preferences with the opposite sex.... I would continue but my fingers are tired so I'll. Educate you more on my research findings later

Hello...I haven't been in in awhile. I have been struggling with same issue for 6years now. Whatever it started out as has opened up into a whole host (being me-the host) of things. Also can't get any medical help. Physical complications have gotten real bad.

While I have yet to b able to get any real treatment my research shows that I have a CRAZY fungus that has literally taken over every inch of my body and apartment (floors, ceilings, walls, and everything in between). Its terrifying.

I also now have some type of parasitic worm. These things are just as mean and painful.

There is also a black (looks like a large mite or group of mites) something that is very aggressive and seems to surface where the fungus concentrates are.

All of these things have reaked such havoc on my life that I can no longer keep anything in the house. It expires in minutes, paper products get shredded on first touch, and so on.

I'm writing this to say....BE PERSISTANT WITH THE IDIOT "MEDICAL UNPROFESSIONALS*. I have no doubt that I am now terminal and at the rate it is growing...soon. I have some videos if anyone wants to see them. Good luck.

Zeusdog1 profile image

I was reading your post which mimics my past 5 years. I hope u have found answers...if so....please share.

Things have gotten sooo bad for me that I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I WILL probably die from this.

I chuckled when I saw Olanzapine because a crisis worker insisted (just the other day) that if I takeb20 my a day I will no longer be sick. She says it has to be MORGELLONS SYNDROME. What a crock of !^@^#^$.

I have become a host to so many parasitic organisms of which I have video, photos, and specimens but still can't get a medical UN-PROFESIONAL to admit there existence and commit to helping. It's to much work for what Medicare pays.

in reply toZeusdog1

I'm also suffering from this. I feel hopeless. UGas anything helped?

Hello everyone, my first post as I came across your all post on this and well unfortunately it seems like we all suffer in silence of the same thing. I’ve lost my son 20 weeks pregnant to this. I’ve not gone back to any doctors since loosing my pregnancy. Prior to that my primary physician who’s been my doctor for 15 years called me a meth addict and never did a single test nor sent me to any other doctor. She claims she believes I’ve become a meth addict in her words is due to the “weight loss and scabs” without a doubt it’s taken a toll on my health, physical and mental wellbeing. I’m tired of fighting and running into dead ends. This isn’t what I call living

Good question above⬆️. I wonder the same many times.Just on regarding the person's skin condition, maybe its not to late, but I do hope it is because then there still suffering. But could it be impetigo, I got impetigo a couple years back because I have dermatitis and got bitten by an insect and it turned into impetigo, I know its an old condition, but people with dermatitis and eczema ar prone/vulnerable to it, also people that ar run down,or unhealthy life styles, and small children ar vulnerable to catching it, if there exposed. Good news about it is its highly treatable was healed in 7 to ten days of using ointment from doc, its just it looked a bit similar to was this person is showing and describing.

I've had somethung similar to this and my derm prescribed an ointment (don't remember but will look it up) and took 2 to 3 weeks to heal.

DollieLee75 profile image
DollieLee75 in reply to

So what was the ointment

in reply toDollieLee75

The two that I can think of off top my head are ketoconazole 2% cream and betamethasone 0.05 % ointment. Then there's one more. Here it is fluticasone propionate cream USP 0.05% cream.

One other thing that some may benifit from with skin issues shown on this tread, if ye can't get a prescription on time, or even while using your treatment, is put aloe Vera in your soap, shower gel ect, or get soap with proper aloe vera in it, I didn't see anything change quickly with it, but I do often use that when washing hands and showering, it's is suppose to have propertys that can help ease skin infections, such at the ones mentions on this tread, so even when my skin is OK except for the dermatitis that constantly trys to flare, I use it, because it can help keep your skin clear from such infections.

I went through the exact same ,Drs n all. Pic is dead on.So with no competent Dr except scabies lovers I became my own scientist, having delt with multiple parasitic infection cause they always tavel in pairs i purchased about $3000 worth of equipment.6mo later i diagnosed myself. Dr concurred and gave me appropriate meds. The triangle head worm thing with trailing center and tail is one of the stages of liver fluke(under skin).skin deformation also. hope this helps, cost me a fortune (including job) to figure this out.

p.s. cant get rid of them overnight.badly infected takes awhile to break the cycle. They've mutated

Miracidium and Cercaria stage of liver fluke. not normally found this stage in humans

Is it possible that whatever this stuff is could possibly cause extreme brain fog and almost like it's trying to prevent a person from going to the doctor to have it removed. Like a type of defense method. Sounds crazy I know but over time I'm seeing that this really could be happening. Hmmmm.... who knows

TriangleRash profile image

I have the same problem. I feel like I'm being pelted with something and then the triangle shape is just there in the area I felt the pelt. Varing sizes, sometimes they burn, itch, or sting. Some do bleed. I've found acne treatments with benzoyl peroxide or salisydic acid helps clear them up. I've had a lot of them lately and have developed a fungal infection, possible bacterial infection, and a pretty severe parasitic infection. I've come to learn that the white hair like things associated with them are actually worms. They definitely are environmental, spray down everything in your house with Lysol, I've found that to be the most effective. Also interesting if you spray something that has them on it with a copper fungiside they will turn pink, orange, or blue and kind of dissolve. Not sure what they are, there's nothing on the internet about them really, but "triangle shaped rash" "triangle worms in humans" "v shaped worms in humans" and "v shaped worms" are all suggested searches on any search engine that I've used, so obviously people are trying to find information about this.

RexinOz profile image

Wow. I was badly bitten by a feral cat and have had these triangle things for nearly 5 years now. Thanks all for the information. I'm so over them. Have moved from right arm up neck , now on face. In a rough line. Total triangles with 3 points and a centre. I've been using anti fungal just to.help with that burning sting. They usually go black at the three points, tiny black bricks, skin goes scaly and shiny and they return for me as a woman every 28 days. The information here is the best I've ever found. Ty
