I am not a doctor or have any medical training, but I think there might be a lot of information about female hymen on the internet. In college, my family had a woman from Iran stay with our family as an exchange student. She told me that before she could get married that it was customary in her Muslim religious culture to check to see if the unmarried women's hymen was still intact before she could marry her beloved. This, she said, would show she was still a virgin.

So, I think you could look up the term "microperforated hymen" on the web and see what answers you get. However, I have been told that sometimes girls can break their hymen by falling or other means.

I think it is common to have OCD thoughts over something you are anxious about such as being sexually assaulted or abused. Talking to a counselor trained in dealing with OCD would be a good way of dealing with these issues.
