Hi,

I've taken both Risperal & Abilify on separate occasions. Both meds were *involuntary* via court order from a hospitalization (AWFUL situation), and although I don't remember the dosages, they were probably quite high because I had a horrible doctor who loved meds and was hardcore about drugging up his patients -- whether or not they consented.

I had terrible experiences with both of these meds. I suffered through severe restlessness, panic feelings, blurry vision, uncontrollable muscle stiffness in my arms, and sudden difficulty swallowing from the Risperdal, & then more intolerable restlessness and panic on Abilify... And on top of that, my OCD wasn't really any better.

I hate all antipsychotic meds like these; they can have very creepy and potentially serious side effects. I'd advise anyone to use caution and watch out for weird problems if taking this type of medication.

I hope this helps.
