fibromyalgia flare

So my symptoms are back with a vengeance. I’ve had a good year and now back to square one. My anxiety is through the roof. I don’t know how much of this pain I can take. What’s worse the chances of seeing my gp are very thin. I probably have to wait two weeks for an appointment.

Gosh where do I start? 🥲

by trying to calm down! Sorry, but it’s true! I have a fibro flareup every winter, & this one is a bit vicious! Remember to rest at times (boring, but essential)! I find heat (electric blanket in bed, heat pads in daytime) help! I think you can ring a number, is it 111, to get help if your surgery is closed, or unavailable. My wait for my GP is 3 weeks, but I can ring in with an urgent request & be seen by duty doctor sane day. Most surgeries are operating a triage system now, so ring them & say it’s very urgent. If they can’t help, ring 111, but check that’s the right number on Google!! Good luck!
