I am 6.5 wks pregnant. Wondering if anyone has endometriosis /fibromyalgia who got pregnant and had bad ibs and abdo pain. I have been looking for treatment to help me but nothing so far. I am constantly woken up by cramps and the feeling of wanting to open my bowels ;at times i have diarrhoea and another time i am constipated. I get left side pain with pelvic pain that is so severe. Can someone help?

Hi Khae.

If you discuss your health issues with your public health nurse / your family doctor or ask for a appointment with your antenatal nurse or even consult, or maybe a appointment with your guinecalgest, they would be the best ones to give you the information you need.

But while you are waiting for your appointment, you can definitely try what @relaxandbreathe has suggested, I myself have been a holistic, medical therapist for over 10 years. An I have fibro myalgia and Myalgia Encephalitis 18 +20 years and ibs over 30 years. So apart from a holistic approach, I can advise what I have an will on a personal level.

For starters, to ease your fibro myalgia pains an discomfort that's also irritating your IBS / Irattable bowel syndrome. Due to the discomfort and spasms from your FMS / fibro myalgia. Try having a gentle spray setting of your shower head upwards through all of your body in warm water unless your to warm then use warm to lukewarm tepreture but always in the upward position from your feet legs torso chest neck shoulders. Same at the back of your body. This helps your body to drain the stail energy from your body that's causing your spasms. It also helps drain inflammation through your lymphatic system giving a feeling of relaxation, more oxygen and more proper blood flow pressure throughout your body.

Use warm lavender or camomile heat pads on areas that are causing you distress. If it's your tummy then place it at the end of your back and just use a warm towel over your tummy so that the weight be okay for your little angel bundle. 🤗🙏😇

Try using the you tube videos of guided imagery relaxation by the likes of meditation vacation they are called or jason stephenson, or Michael seeley, or vacation meditation they are very similar to meditation vacation. Also try doing lung breathing exercises, it will help you in labour as well. It's gently focusing your eyes in a soft gaze at something like an object and only using your nose, you breathe in for the count of 3 as you focus on each count an closing your eyes very lightly and gently and keeping them closed that way an slowly for the count of 3 sigh softly through parted lips, still keeping the eyes softly closed and repeat the breathing steps 3 more times, but when sighing out, breath out your pain, discomfort, anxiety out.

This will help you relax, focus, stop anxiety a'd ease your pain and distress as well as discomfort for you. Will you let me know how you get on?

Be well and keep strong 🙏🤗😇
