My Mum has recently been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at 53 it has returned in her liver, lungs, spine and hips. So I have decided to start a petition which has been published.
The petition is to help to allow cancer patients and those who have survived cancer to have access to more preventative measures of care.
The aim for these preventative options (Annual CT scans) is that secondary cancers can then be identified and treated earlier . This can also allow those patients to experience a higher quality of life with more peace of mind due to having confidence in early detection of cancer cells.
Most people have unfortunately had a family member, friend or loved one who has experienced Cancer. I hope this petition can help us to move forward towards patients having a wider range of care that they can take some responsibility and ownership of.
Please if you can all read the petition and sign it. Also share the petition so we can get as many signatures as possible.
