Hi Graham, Just thought you may be interested in this article regarding how important it is to show compassion to ourselves and in a way, I feel that being kind to ourselves and having gratitude all helps us feel less fear. I am not a huge fan of the 'positive thinking' label but have found it helpful to frequently look at a list of all the things I have to feel grateful for. I would also suggest ringing Penny Brohn and asking if there is someone there who can ring you with more advice on improving how you feel about life and your health.
