I'm new here just looking for support from people who have been through caring for someone with breast cancer. My mum was diagnosed about 6 weeks ago, since then she has been told it had spread to her liver and lungs. In the past 3-4 weeks she has become bedridden. Other than that she was keeping well a little unsteady on her feet so was needing helping out of bed to the toilet and such things like that, and also suffering with quite a lot of pain in her breast but we seemed to of had that under control with pain relief. After spending 2 weeks caring for her I had to go home for a few days as have a husband and two children at home. She was due to go in hospital for a week tomorrow for radiation and I had planned to come back today to be here to support my dad by taking him back and fourth to the hospital and such like. But Saturday morning had received a phone call to say mum has taken a turn for the worse and me and the rest of my immediate family must come down. So rushed down to find her laid in bed unable to talk, eat or drink. She is now unable to swallow at all so has had a syringe drive out in for pain relief. She is unresponsive and unaware of anything around her, as you can imagine this was a huge shock. All of this had happened just over night, the day before she had been eating fish and chips, all happy laughing and joking with my dad. We have now been told she will no longer be going for radiation, as it's too late. Has this happened to anyone else? Basically could you give me advice I.e what's the next step? How to cope? Is she still able to hear us? Any advice/ information would be greatly appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you all

I'm so sorry Adelle. Try to take each step as it comes. Have you made contact with the'Macmillan' nurses i hear good things of them. I'm sure your Mum can hear you. Keep talking to her. It sounds like she is being well looked after .
Take care of yourself for your family. Sending you loving thoughts.
Hi Adelle. This must all be such a shock to you, I'm so sorry. I lost my mum to a brain tumour some years ago. She too went into an unresponsive state, but I know she could hear me. I talked to her as I would have normally with her in the room. Occasionally she would respond with a muscle movement or smile. She is still there and still your Mum.
Hello Adele, Just read your sad news, I am a breast cancer survivor, but lost my husband to liver cancer, he didn't drink alchohol but developed cirrhosis through diabetes, my love and prayers go out to you and your family, if and when you feel able, please contact me xx Love AlysAudrey
Well done dear AlysAudrey. Surviving the nasty old Breast Cancer. I have had this for 20 years, and constantly worked on my body, researching all possible routes.
I have learnt that Organic Wheat Grass is the answer to most diseases. Not the doctors and their medicines, where this is concerned. It is reducing my Blood Cancer Markers. These have dropped from 25 to 20 in 10 weeks. I was given 6 months to live by my English Oncologist, here, in, Nelson, NZ, last October. I am now proving them all wrong.
This wonderful food, together with an extremely alkalising diet, is rescuing me. It will most folk who suffer this and other diseases.
God Bless You.
We are made of Love and Happiness, I pray that you all have tons of these in future.
