Can someone suffer from peritoneal cancer inspite of normal ca125 level?

Abdominal ascites,peritonial nodular mass of 5cm,nodulations in retroperitonial lymph node,few nodular hypodensities in spleen ,mild fever,bloated abdomen female age 57 ca125 level is 27 are there chances of peritoneal cancer?

Hey!

I just happen to be on Penny Brohn and Ovacom and I would register for Ovacom and put your post on there! There are a lot of ladies on there with PPC and they will be able to help. I had ovarian cancer so bit different but just to let you know that my CA125 was always normal so it's not always a good indicator of cancer. It's a difficult time for you at the min so I would really recommend you go to Ovacom board there are some great ladies on there who will be able to help.
