I have received chemo but for Breast Cancer in 2009/10. It was a horrible experience, I didn't feel in control, felt very ill and not supported once chemo side effects took hold. I eventually decided to stop chemo because I felt if I continued I wouldn't survive......I tried alternative treatments, and found the Penny Brohn Centre extremely beneficial both physically but most importantly spiritually. I am now 5 years post cancer, healthy and most importantly alive!
