CATHETER CHANGE

So I have had an indwelling (urethral) catheter for nearly 14 months now. Of course it has to be chSanged regularly and this is done by the district nurses. Anyway one of the DNs is, I think, well suited for an alternative occupation because when she removes the old catheter it is with the speed and strength of a lumberjack on the pull cord starter of a 16 inch chainsqaw.?

Are any of the people you know suited for an alternative career to the one they chose ?

Aaaargh!!My husband has a catheter as well,and being a naturally reserved man,the added embarrassment of the changing of the catheter has been a string of first year students being present at the procedure…Recently for no discernible reason he had bladder stones,and had to have 5 catheter changes in 4 days.We are preparing a possible film script “ Indiana Mack and the curse of the catheter”

This us one of those situations where most female onlookers become helpless with laughter and just yell "remember childbirth 'Sorry but you cheered me up no end
