Anyone suffer from cold and sore toes? Any tips?

Until recently my toes have been purple and cold but now they're swollen and sore. I've tried warm boots and socks at night but wondered if anyone else has suggestions. Even particularly effective brand.

Happy New Year chooselater, i too suffer from these symptoms. Wearing warm socks to bed, I find a few layers of thinner socks better than one thick pair. When going out I often put a disposable heat pad inside my gloves before leaving home. Sometimes if we try to heat up our extremities too quickly they can become red and painful. There could be a couple of underlying causes which should be ruled out by your GP, therefore it would be wise to have discussion with your GP if you have not already done so

Sounds like chilblains. Poor circulation is a symptom of failure of the autonomic system and consistent with MSA. Tell your neurologist, but as with all symptoms, management is down to us.

If the toes are burning, you might try calamine lotion, or witch hazel, just to stop the irritation. If that doesn’t work, need to revert to your GP.
