Have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia?
Yes, around 15 years ago. I dont know if t was because they cold nt find a cause for all my general aches . It makes me wonder now if this was MPD way baack then.
I was diagnosed when i was 19 years of age. I'm now 38. I never believed in fibro. I truely believe I've just had ET for that long. I've found some old bloodwork and my platelets were slightly above 400,000. After reading all the posts on here I am more convinced. I had a severe case of mononucleosis two years prior and i think that triggered my fibro pains which are really ET in my opinion. Thanks for answering!
Due to the constant pain and fatigue I had I asked the doctor to test me for fibromyalgia. the doctor did the pressure tests but did not think that this is what I had. However, now that I have read the comments on this site I realise that the systems that I have are the same as many others with PV.
