Hey Ann... :-)

Always good to see people working on new possibilities...

After a scan however, there is not a great deal of solid science here as yet... Just possibles (?)

Further analysis also indicates the funding from mainly Big Pharma background...

Hence, my Red Flags are wiggling "beware to the buyer..."

Thus far, these tests are also only tried w/ JAK mutation for ET, whereas might learn that all things are not necessarily equal, (w/ other Mutations I mean of course).

Nevertheless, does make for an interesting read...

Thanks for Posting Ann... 8-)

Best wishes

Steve

thanks Steve for the thoughtful reply. I also noted all of the investigators seem to have significant pharma involvement. Still an interesting initial investigation. I am also TET2 which had some interesting preliminaries with that. Did you see where this original post came from? There is an Australian/NZ MPN group looking for info on treatments that is not pharma! 😁

Hi, an interesting study but like a lot of supplements not enough work yet done to prove it's effectiveness , always good to have something else in the 'arsenal' of treatment for MPNs and after doing further reading it would appear it does not have any significant side effects. Thanks for posting.

thanks Janis 12 I got it from a MPN MF/MDS forum where someone has been taking it regularly and had noticed almost from day 1 a significant improvement in energy and well being like back before MF.

It points to be especially useful in TET2 dx.

Worth keeping an eye on as it is still in research phase
