allele burden MPL ET on peg

Hi . I have been on peginterferon for just over a year. Counts are now great and the MPN specialist has said complete haematological response. Just got allele burden results back and gone from 28% to 30% . Not too worried as he did say they don’t fully understand the significance but curious . And it would have been nice to have a reduction.

Seeing him again early July so will discuss further then

Great that the Peg is working so well for you! On the allele burden, do you know if they are comparing apples to apples? It can be measured via a blood test and also via bone marrow and the values are not necessarily the same.
