hi was just wondering has anyone broken out in hives in different places but then they go away after your Pegasus injection?

I have never heard of that before. In fact, urticaria ia a known Pegasys hypersensitivity reaction that has a warning on the label. gene.com/download/pdf/pegas...

Hi Nc3500, Yes! I’ve been on Pegasys for nearly 5 years and have suffered random attacks of Hives now and then. There appears to be no set pattern of when they arrive and until recently I only got a couple each time. However the last time I stopped counting at 16 and they were everywhere from my hair, my beard, arms, chest and legs. But there was no apparent reason as to why this time was so different. Nothing had changed in my life. Over the 5 years I’ve been able to push out my injections to 6 weekly and I’ll wait and see if there is a difference now. Fingers crossed.

thanks so much was just a little scared because I’ve never had hives like that before. Didn’t know if I was getting an allergic reaction to the shot.
