I got a nummular headache six days after the second Moderno booster vaccine. I am wondering if it was from the vaccine or the fact that I was starting with symptoms from ET. The headache lasted until six weeks after I started hydroxy. I had previously gotten Pfizer for the first three vaccines so now I don’t know if it’s the Moderna or a symptom from ET.

As with so much of our condition, it's hard to know is it the MPN, the meds, a vax, or something else. Headaches are a listed effect of HU but from a quick search, the type of headache you have is rare, so at least it's worth discussing with Dr, esp as according to:

On the vax, it is not unusual to get more effects from Moderna over Pfizer. This is because the Moderna is a larger dose (50mcg) than the Pfizer (30mcg) This doesn't mean the vax was the problem, but if it is, the larger dose could be a reason.

For the old AZ/JJ vaxes, a delayed headache is of concern from what I read, one reason these are no longer in common use, they had rare blood clotting risks.
