hi everyone been on meds 6 weeks and have a rash on my tummy and back what meds's help this thankyou

Rash is a know issue with HU. Assuming this is a new symptom, then it is reasonable to consider that is is HU adverse effect. online.epocrates.com/drugs/...

I have also experienced rash/itching with Besremi. It is well controlled with a daily dose of Claritin (antihistamine).

Be sure to run this by your MPN Care team and get input on next steps.

I got a rash on my arms and finally figured out it was from walking outside in the sun during the day where I was not covered. As soon as I stayed out of the sun it disappeared. Evidently when you’re on the pills you need to stay out of the sun.

I have suffered greatly with rash popping up on arms then legs then body my forehead also Recently been to dermatologist who was useless said wear factor 50+ every two hours reapply gave me nothing for it said I’ll see you in three months

I’ve had rash on forehead for five years !

I had a severe rash reaction to HU about 6 weeks in - I tried antihistamines; staying out of the sun, and nothing helped. It was severe enough to disturb my sleep. It eventually cleared up after about two weeks but was another reason I switched from HU to Peg.
