Small movable lump after IV

Hi everyone, I broke my wrist recently and had an IV in the back of my wrist on the other hand. At the time when the iv was used for pain meds or rehydration drip it was a little sore at the needle. Since then I have a little movable lump where the needle was. It was a little bit tender but not sore at all sore now. No redness either. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance. :) B x

Just in case this happens to anyone else I found out what the lump was. Ir is a Superficial thrombophlebitis is an inflammation of a vein just below the surface of the skin, which results from a blood clot. This condition may occur after recently using an IV line, or after trauma to the vein. I asked when I was back at the hospital yesterday. I explained that I had ET and that this was worrying me a bit. The knew what ET was and said that it would be ok. That is hadn't travelled down the vien and that it should disappear in a couple of weeks. Of course if u are ever concerned about somthing like this always speak to ur care specialist. B
