Hydroxyurea contribute to Osteoporosis?
That is not an adverse effect I had heard reported. so I looked. There was only one reference I could find.
"10,513 people reported to have side effects when taking Hydroxyurea.
Among them, 45 people (0.43%) have Osteoporosis."

This is a very low rate of osteoporosis found in only one study. It was noted primarily in females over the age of 60 who would be at risk in the absence of HU. While it can't be ruled out as a very rare adverse effect, I am thinking it is unlikely that HU would affect bone density.
There certainly are medications that affect your risk for osteoporosis. Here are a couple of articles on that.
