What treatments are there for an enlarged Spleen

I don’t know what meds you are on but my understanding is that the meds will reduce your spleen size.The reason being your spleen is producing excessive platelets.

The ultimate is having your spleen removed. You can manage perfectly well without it.

I’m fully aware others on this site are more knowledgeable than I so I anticipate my reply to be corrected.

My husbands spleen reduced when he went onto ruxolitanib.

His spleen was 22cm it's now about 14cm .

He takes 20mg twice a day he started in the February 2019 and had a scan in the October 2019.
