Hi does anyone have horrible mornings where everything hurts and it takes awhile to feel better I find drinking water helps along the way but it’s a slow process

Hi there, my mornings are the same, so I usually spend like two hours "pampering" myself before actually starting my day. I drink water and ginger lemon tea and give myself time to recover before going to work. It is better to get up earlier than go to work in pain. It works!

Yes I do I’m normally up about 6.30am takes me until between 9 t 10am to feel anything like myself, having said that I don’t sit about I push myself to keep going through it.

Yes, every morning for years. I attributed it to my fibromyalgia and arthritis. I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia in my 30’s, arthritis in my 40’s, and ET when I was 52. Once I got up and started walking around, I felt better. Im 65 and now I think some of my chronic pain is due to my post ET MF. So talk to your doctor and find out what is going on, if possible. My hematologist still isn’t sure what is causing my pain. You may want to see a rheumatologist. Take care.

Thanks for advice! This group and the people on it are so helpful, would be lost without it such a scary time when first diagnosed but once over the initial shock you do learn to chill and get on with life.

Yes, but I think it's old age and arthritis!
