Lesley loved life it’s so unfair ❤️

Big hugs my friend xx

What very sad news. I met Lesley at the London conference recently having been in touch with her through this forum. I wonder if people on HealthUnlocked realise she called herself Sand Dancer and regularly posted.

in reply to pj1963

Thank you - I didn’t know who she was until your post. I used to read her posts.

So very sorry to hear that news - thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Anne-Marie.

Hi pam. What shocking news! I enjoyed looking at your regular postings and pictures of your 'Blood sister'get togethers and feeling slightly envious of not having a bond like you had with someone with same or similar condition. I send my sincere condolences to you pam as you will be devasted as obviously as will all her family and other friends. Fly high 'sand dancer' . You will be greatly missed from this fortum! Much love to her family and friends.

It is very sad news.I met Lesley in London and I was able to tell her how much her posts had helped me when I was newly diagnosed.

I never met Lesley but she came across as someone always more concerned about others than herself. I know she had progressed to MF but had no idea that she was at such risk.

Very sad loss to this Forum

That is so sad. I never met lesley but always read her posts. Much love to all her family and friends Gill

I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet Lesley, but posts with photos of her radiant smile and her words of encouragement literally made me feel ‘lighter’ and more positive, especially when I was first diagnosed.

So.. Thank you ‘Sand Dancer’ for all the love and light you brought to this forum, may your family know that you touched so many with your beautiful soul and helped people like me to look ‘forward’.

✨with Love, Light and Blessed be to you on your next journey✨

Jacqui 🙏🏻

Such sad news my thoughts go to Lesley family and friends I shall miss her wise words Poppy

Like others I met this lovely lady for the first time in London last year having read her helpful contributions for a long time. Such a shame to lose someone who seemed so vibrant.

Very shocked by your post. Had no idea Lesley was so poorly. Our Forum will definitely be the poorer for her passing and the absence of her uplifting posts. She was the embodiment of a ray of sunshine. Our love and condolences to her family if you are able to pass them on.

It is sad when some one has reached the end of this life.

She was brave and kind.

Love never dies it is transformed into the Intimate possibility.

Condolences to the family.

Very sad to hear. Can we reread Lesley’s posts? I would like to but can’t find Sand Dancer when I search. May she Rest In Peace. 🙏💙

in reply to Elzbietta

Hi Elzbietta, try searching using Sand-Dancer, she had a hyphen in her user name. Maz

in reply to Mazcd

Thank you Maz. Very sad but good to see and all her posts and these recent posts from others show what a wonderful strong community we have. It is scary but what wonderful friendships are formed through adversity. And thank you for all the help and comfort you provide. I read your wise and measured replies with the greatest respect and admiration.Best, E xx

in reply to Elzbietta

Hi Elzbietta. I also re-read Lesley's posts last night and what struck me was how cheerful she always was and of course that big beautiful smile. I can't believe she attended her last patient forum in London in november and now gone from our forum. The forums loss is Heavens gain. One very brave lady.♥️tina.

Such very sad news to wake up to, so sorry to hear this. RIP Lesley ❤️
