I started on hydroxy a week ago but I'm started to feel like my skin is all electrical is this normal

Hi. I’m sorry to hear you’re having these problems. When you say electrical it reminds me of how I felt during my suspected TIA but the sensation went away & my skin was never sensitive to touch. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Katie

Sorry to hear about the feelings in your skin. I was diagnosed with PV more than three years ago and I remember electrical type sensations especially in my feet, almost like shocks at times. For some time, I had regular venesections and over time my hydroxy dosage was increased. I now take 2x 500gr one day and 3x 500 gr on alternate days and for the most part feel fine. I had far more symptoms/side effects in the beginning. For some people I feel it may be a matter of time to get to the magic 45 and then adjust the medication to our individual needs. Gosh I get this feeling too and no one can give me an explanation, just feels like little electric shocks are running though my body ?

I've been taken off it as my hemo Dr said its a reaction
