Hi welcome to this friendly forum . I have ET and am on hydroxy too and suffer fatigue . I find walking and gentle exercise helps and resting in between . Drink plenty of water and keep hydrated . I'm sure others will have good advice for you too ., you are not alone as it affects many of us with this condition but it's early days for you and things can improve.

Best wishes. Pippa

Hi and welcome. I also have ET and the biggest problem I face with it is fatigue. As you read through the posts here, you'll find it's quite common -- despite some doctors saying it isn't. I've learned so much here, and all of it has helped. Pippa is right -- gentle exercise, water, rest when you need it, and most of all, know you're not alone.

Hi Sandra, I to have ET I was diagnosed may 2017 , I am 48 and I’m on 75 mg aspirin and 2 x 500mg hydroxycarbamide a day, I to feel tired all the time the haematologist told me it’s the hydroxycarbamide that’s making me tired, so I guess we just have to live with it 😩

Hi Sandra, the fatigue comes and goes of its own accord. I have no idea what pattern their is to mine. I do know if I go "overboard"on activity the next day can be sure to be tired more so than usual. Walking and hydration seem to be the key and for me no sugar and limited high glycemic foods. Good luck and post attention to how you feel based on what you did and ate. A diary helps with that. I have pv jak2+ and am on hydroxy plus vennesections.

Best wishes
