Hi Guys, for those who love cats, here is Aime who looks sweet but is definitely the boss but let’s my hubby think he is! But she is sweet when I’ve had an op and will cuddle down beside me. I think it goes back to the time when she was hit by a car and lost her leg - I spent the night on the floor with her.xx 😺😺

Aime
Such a sweet photo and your comments regarding Aime and her personality are so much like my Cat, Penny that I had several years ago. Brings back beautiful memories. Thank you for posting.
Such a lovely photo, and what a beautiful colour she looks like a very big pussy cat, does she cope well on three legs, it’s amazing how they do, Archie the brother of my Smithy, got run over but he was killed, mind you he was a bit of a loose cannon loved to wander all over the place and it was while he was running across the main road near us that he was hit, the person that knocked him down was kind enough to put him back on the pavement and my husband found him after a long search, as it was a Sunday we had to put him in the garage, till the Monday, but Smithy knew kept on sitting by the door into it, eventually we had to move him and give lots of TLC and it was only a couple of weeks and we got Milo, and have never looked back, Smithy is very protective of him and Milo adores him.
Certainly looks like a Ginger Nija.

Hi Jean, aww that’s such a lovely story. Cats are certainly not stupid. Aime is very jealous of the grandkids, sometimes my hubby has 3 on his knee: 2 grandsons plus one cat!! It’s so sad when they die, because they are just a member of the family.
Kindest regards Aime xx😺😺😻😻
Oh gosh you do miss them when they die, they are part of your family, I have had so many cats over the years, and each time they die I say no more, but cannot resist, very much a cat person, where as my husband always had dogs mostly Irish Setters, but now he loves his boys Smithy and Milo and worries when they get something wrong with them which is not very often, always here him talking to them and when he says foodie they come running, even the word fish they seem to understand, strange creatures, but would not be without them.

Oh she is a lovely colour Aime, isn't it amazing how animals cope with the loss of a limb, esp if lucky enough to have a loving owner..she obviously repays you with her devotion,a happy story.Hope you are feeling better,we have just arrived in U K this morn....oooohhhhh,big shock ,on with the winter layers.!!!xSally
Awww Aime, she is so beautiful! Such a wonderful colour and markings!!! I think all cats are bosses! She looks so cosy and content. How great she manages with just 3 legs. You look after her well obviously, and didn't give up on her. And how lovely she snuggles with you, she knows you are there for her. I was in no way, shape or form a lover of cats until we got one, and now my husband laughs at me because Joey has me wrapped around his little paws!
I hope the faigue is doing better and if not that you can at least rest. Thanks so much for posting this great picture. I am over the moon to see Aime.

I believe cats are a real gift. They have a extra ‘sense’ in knowing you are not well and need looking after. They are very intelligent! Our cat Austin acts just like a nurse....when I’m ill he is like a shadow and when I’m okay he does his own thing. Love your photo! Take care. xx 😻
Totally agree Janell. Aime x😻😻
Yeah guys, I think animals sometimes teach us a lot. I know Aime has. When she got hit by the car, she came to back door meowing, we took her to the vets and she got a painkilling injection until she could face surgery or ? Over night with three good legs she was jumping up onto the bed and onto her blanket and then down onto the floor again as normal. After surgery, she tried to do all the normal things.
She enjoyed going up a ladder into the attic in our old workshop. She still could climb up on 3 legs but was scared to come down, so hubby went out spent money on wood, etc and built a ramp (with sides)so she wouldn’t fall off. The next day she was proudly standing downstairs in the workshop and hubby was delighted with his handiwork! The next day we saw her coming DOWN the ladder by herself! Aime xx😹😹😹😹😻😻
I love cats
What a sweet looking girl orange tabby! Most of the orange cats I see are boys. We have a tortoiseshell cat who is a tiny purry girl who loves to hop on our shoulders. Cats make the world a better place!
Hi Aime, how lovely to see Aime :-)! I almost missed your post as our internet is down this weekend, but just made use of our library free internet to check emails and so on. Ginger cats are extra special, we had one once, and he was a delightful character. He loved being carried on my shoulder. 🙋🐈Pxx
Hello,
This is a beautiful animal. I do love cats, they are such nice people.(haha) How old is this darling and wonderful companion of yours?
Hi, she’s about 8 years old and like her owner, very set in her ways!! Hubby and her make a perfect pair! She’s very much his cat as far as sitting on knees in the evening, I think mainly because he falls asleep, so does she and he sits still! But as I’ve said already, if I’m recovering from ops, she cuddles down with me and is truly a very sensitive puss. Kindest regards Aime xx😸😸😻😻
Oh she is gorgeous, but then all cats are to my mind. I got a twelve yr old rescue a couple of years ago and she is great, nervous of everything but great. Mind you I still cheat on her are go to the Cat Cafe in Liverpool to play with the kitties there sometimes. 🙀 Janet
