I was watching Holby City and for the first time I saw platelets mentioned. Well not actually spoken of but shown on a report - one patient had them in the 600+ range and another only 139. I wonder how many people watching knew what platelets were and how many from this forum who were watching shouted "ooh somebody's got platelets" like I did. One of the patients was dead and there were problems with the other, so maybe they'll get a mention again!
