I had a similar thing happen checked my records from two years prior and results were raised and would’ve definitely been flagged by a haematologist.

Wow, how can they just dismiss that? A similar thing happened to me, I managed to get hold of my blood results taken three years before my diagnosis and they showed raised platelets. I was not informed at the time. In the meantime I had a blood clot, which led to the MPN diagnosis.

Same thing. My GP told me I had " iffy bloods " since 2007 although I am sure I had MPN much much longer than that. Itching going back as far as 2002. Loads of tests for allergys, skin sample taken, creams to put on, stuff for the bath, all to no avail. I was finally diagnosed 2011.
