I suffer from severe pain in my left foot that comes and goes. The bones in the foot will hurt so much that I can only get around with a walker. A few hours later I do fine with a cane, and then later maybe walking with no assistance. But when it hurts the pain is awful, like 8-9 on a ten scale. Just comes and goes. Anybody else?

Bone pain in foot
Could it be anything to do with gout Jerry? Thankfully I haven't had a full blown attack for a long while but my right foot is playing up at the moment, it feels like the bones have got twisted and they need to snap back into place, painful! I've had it before, usually when my uric acid levels have crept up (white wine or cheese are my culprits). Hope it goes off soon, Christine
Hi Jerry, sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Be worth seeing GP and get foot checked. I've had foot pain recently and needed orthotic soles which I'm still getting used to but I have got widespread osteoarthritis. I always blame my PV first for everything new and sometimes it is innocent!!
Hope you feel better very soon.
Kind regards Aime x😺
Me too - it hurts like poison at times. I have to walk with a cane when the pain is bad. Dr. said it is erythromalalagia. I have PV and supposedly this can happen with PV. Putting something cool on it helps a bit, as doesputting foot up with no shoe on. No more trendy shoes for me!
