Like many of you I'm suffering with fatigue constantly and not sure if that's giving me a headache or wether it just feels like a headache because my heads muddly with the fatigue ?
Does it ever get better with time ? I'm reading all your tips and ideas and trying some
Hi JK, I have PV but my headaches and porridge brain as I like to call it gets worse as my blood thickens. I do get relief after venesection but also find if I don't drink a lot of water I get the "dehydrated headache" also. Best wishes Aime x😺
I am muddled and head achy at the moment JK,other days I am ok,tho have long forgotten what it feels like to be normal.I think we have to try to pace ourselves to avoid the chronic ,ghastly fatigue, very hard if you are used to being active and have things to do and work.Stress is a killer, but how to avoid that is another problem.
Lots of water all day is essential, also force yourself to rest when the fatigue starts....if you can,I now have really bad aches and pains that I cannot find a reason for,so many things to deal with when we suffer these M P N s,I send you best of luck, you will cope.everyone here manages one way or another, best wishes too, keep positive .x
Hi JK its horrid when the dreaded fatigue kicks in, and a headache on top I can only sympathise how miserable this must be making you feel. I have just taken a couple of days bed rest because I allowed myself to get too fatigued and there was no turning back, I had to give in to it. I am feeling much better this evening because of it, much more calmer and that awful tired/fallen feeling I get across my face has lifted. I am just hoping the itch on the top of my arms will ease this evening too. Hope you are feeling better soon. best wishes.
Thankyou everyone
The problem I have with the fatigue is I feel like I need to sleep for a long time and maybe a couple of days rest like you had Indy would be the answer but I find it difficult to settle and relax ..... As inca suggests, I do try to keep well hydrated which should help with headaches hopefully soon
I haven't suffered with itching however but imagine that must be so irritating and would keep you awake .....I do use aqueous cream after showering ; I don't know if that helps but it's cheap to buy from the chemist and it's very good for dry skin
thankyou for your support and positivity and wish you well. Jk
My husband notices when the 'dreaded fatigue' is about to hit,he says my face &Reyes droop and colour goes,I dread being alone anywhere, shops etc! Sorry above is meant to be 'eyes' for some reason cannot cancel mistake! Never sure whether to work thru and fight it or stop before it hits.Having tired days just now, just want to sleep, but brain churns on with things I must do.Hope you & JK feel good soon, thank goodness to talk on here, always a relief one is not alone .Best wishes x
Hi, I have PV my headaches and fatigue both seems to become worse as my counts go up. I'm Just getting rid of a bout of fatigue, my counts now going down. I do have some fatigue when the counts are in range just not as bad, the better I sleep the less the fatigue, bed time and early starts all make a difference and not great when working shifts. Not 100% sure but when my white cells go up I start to become a little itchy.
Thankyou
My counts did go up so maybe the bad headaches have coincided with that although I did get them previously but not so bad
