Finally manged to crack a run......hips hurt, knees hurt, throat is killing.....coughing like I smoked 60 fags....loved it!! 11weeks and counting for the Great North Run!!

Brilliant! Would love to do the GNR! Looks ace! It was very hot here today and the pollen count was sky high. I also did a short run (in my case) and look an absolute picture after. Are you raising funds for a charity? Have you got a Just Giving page?

Thanks everyone. I don't have a just giving page right now but will do soon. I ran the GNR last year, was incredible. I did better than I expected....this year I look to finish it....nothing more. Family and friends worry which I understand, but if I don't push myself and fight against this illness, then I may as we'll lay down and let it take me. I am far from that person. I will cross the finish line!! But let's not mistake the fact my knees belonged to a 90 year old yesterday!! Lol. Have a good day guys!! X
