Hello. Dr gave me 10mg of Metoclopramide Hydrochloride to take if I felt sick to take once a day, I am also on 1000mg hydrea a day. Maybe you could ask for some to help you ?

I felt like this for the first few days then it passed. Give it a few days to settle.

Hello Spikesnana Not everyone suffers from nausea but I did for a while but it does eventually settle once the body has adjusted! My main remedy was ice lollies, particularly Twisters or fruit pastel! My colleague at work was pregnant and we both had supplies on hand! Lol! I also sliced fresh ginger, poured on hot water and sipped and ate the slices. Peppermint tea can be good too! Good luck! Maggie

That made me laugh! I believe you call them popsicles. They're water ice on stick.

What time of day do you take the hydroxycarbamide? I take mine with breakfast but I know some people find bedtime better. I had the anti-sickness pills for a while but found they made me feel worse! I`m on 1500mg a day and no side effects, just give yourself time to get used to it. I used to find that paracetamol 4x a day helped, but I don`t need it any more. Good luck>

Hello,

I also felt very sick in the beginning but was told to split the dose. half in the morning and half in the night.(not the actual capsules, just the dose). That worked for me.

Try cutting down on wheat based products, I found that helped.
