Has anyone had a successful stem cell transplant for myleodisplasia.

Husband going for his initial consultation tomorrow and all we can read is negatives.

If you use Facebook look up BMT Infonet page and ask there as they have a wider range of SCT conditions. Alternatively just search for them with google. I am a three year transplant survivor from Myelofibrosis and what I read pre - transplant at the time wasn't good but the medics are getting better all the time.

Thanks will do that. Looks like he has no choice but to go ahead with the transplant if a suitable match can be found.
