Hi liarose,

I was in admitted to hospital around six years ago with erythema nodusum. They kept me in for about five or six days doing different tests, and they diagnosed me with Sarcoidosis. At that point I hadn't been diagnosed with ET, although I'm pretty sure I must have had it back then as one of my consultants mentioned my high platelets and asked what was being done about them. The lumps from the erythema nodusum (on my shins), along with swollen feet, ankles and other symptoms were pretty uncomfortable.

What has caused your erythema nodusum? x

My GP thinks it is caused by hydroxycarbamide that I take for my PV
