I have PV and am experiencing extreme weight loss. Anyone else had similar. If so why

I do not have PV but I would strongly suggest that if you are concerned about extreme weight loss you should be discussing this with your doctor. Your GP should be your first port of call as your weight loss might not be related to PV and your GP might well look at a wider picture than a haematologist does. I hope you find the answer soon

I have had severe weight loss twice. After extensive tests there was nothing found. I have ET and went to one meeting in London where an eminent prof from Italy highlighted this problem.

Do see the Dr and sort it as everything that goes wrong is not always connected to our condition.

I have PV also. But I have had a different problem. I have gained at least twenty pounds or more.I have read many blogs who complained of gaining weight. Please see your doctor. Only He can tell you why. Take care of yourself. PATT
