Has anyone tried Feverfew? If so, what dose? I'm taking 100mg daily and seems to be working but I'm not sure if I should take a higher dose

I took feverfew for around a year or so and it seemed to help slightly, however, be very careful with this herb. I have to have regular blood tests for a thyroid problem and my blood test revealed my blood did not clot well, it was too thin (can't remember the exact medical term) anyway, I gave up taking feverfew and my blood returned to normal. So in my opinion its best to check with a doctor before taking a higher dose.

I tried Feverfew about 25 or 30 years ago and it gave me awful mouth ulcers. I didn't take it long enough to assess whether it would help the migraines, but the mouth problems - and other mucous membrane dryness (say no more) put me right off. I was considering trying it again recently but was put off on reading the side effects.

Yes, I've tried this natural alternative, I personally have other combined problems with migraine, I get menieres disease and also hemiplegic migraine.

Not a great help for these conditions combines, I felt that it was getting rather expensive as well.
