Is it ok to swap one preventative tablet to another overnight? Been on Pitzofen and changing to Candesartan many thx 😊

I was told you cannot just stop taking Pizotifen it has to be done in a controlled way so I would check with your Dr first.

I don’t want to pry but if you are happy to say, what is your reason for coming off it? I am interested as my migraines are slowly coming back again whilst on it.

Well my migraines are off the chart and they are trying diff meds to see what works been on Pitzofen for a while now but doc didn’t say how to go about changing

Thank you was getting used to how to reply etc lol 😂 yes doctors don’t know what their doing sometimes I weaned myself off so thx for the advice

How did you wean yourself off please, I am in the lowest dose so presuming it’s would have to every other day or something similar.

Hi yes I took it every other day for about a week then stopped you could do it for 2 weeks if you got enough tablets hope this helps gd luck 😊
