Hard to say without a before pic. No white spots though so not bacterial and no antibiotics needed. Hope you feel better

I can't tell from the image, but swollen tonsils isn't necessarily something you need treatment for because they are part of the lymph system and may swell and become reddened in the presence of a virus; its when they start developing yellow patches or spots that you need to seek some antibiotic treatment, especially if you develop a high fever. In the meantime, if your throat feels sore, gargle with salty water every couple of hours.
