Menopause migraine 😡

Just as I think my migraines are improving I’m hit with daily migraines! I think it’s fluctuating hormones but I don’t really know and the doctor says you can’t test as hormones change daily. I’ve read a lot of interesting posts about diet but can it help hormonal migraine? I’m also trying Bioidentical progesterone, not sure if it’s helpful. Also got a Cream with estrogen too but I don’t know which one to use. Anyone solved this pleeese? Thank you

Well, the theory might be its hormonal, but that doesn't mean it is, especially as there's no way of proving it. I was told I had 'menopausal migraine' at the age of 35 - it wasn't, of course. Diet adjustments are worth trying, it might be a simple solution - the complete removal of dairy as a start for a few weeks is probably worthwhile, since dairy is an obvious contender (cutting it out got rid of my migraine completely....) though everyone has their own triggers.

I have solved my four year long battle with menstrual migraines & for the last 6 months I’ve had 0.

0.

I am floored.

Read my latest post!!

I want to help as much woman as I truly truly can.

I cannot help I am sorry as I am in the same boat, although I don't have any hormone alternatives. I am just offering my sympathy. Come on here and have a rant when you need, at least it gets the frustration and desperation out of your system! x
