My neurologist recommended this as a preventive. Has anyone tried it? I have a coupon for 25$ off first order but it's regularly 55$ a bottle. The website is petadolex.com. Im always leery of the unknown and don't have a ton of extra money at the moment.

I have considered trying it but was put off because Butterbur can have toxic effects (and the cost). But this particular brand appears to be safe, so it may be worth a try. When I read about it it seemed that it worked for some people but not everyone, which is true of all migraine remedies and medications. I don't know if it's one of those things you have to taper off gradually when you stop taking it, but it would be worth finding out as this is sometimes the case with preventives.
