Cluster Headaches

I think I have been suffering with cluster headaches as i get this daily and even go blind in on eye but it is not just around one eye it is the whole one side of my head starting from the back to the front and I don't know what to do. Any advice?

Hey hun, also a cluster migraine sufferer and have tried almost everything! Until i was at one of my clients the other day who told me she does too. Have you tried oxygen??? Im just about to get my sumitriptan injections and oxygen therapy, as aparently this works well x

Insist on being referred to a specialist

If you do have cluster headache it needs to be diagnosed by a neurologist so I would recommend you ask for a referral from your GP. Once you have the diagnosis you can get the best treatments for the pain which are oxygen and sumatriptan injections. After six years of chronic cluster headache I no longer take any preventative meds because the side effects for me were too severe - hopefully this will not be the case for you.

I would also recommend you look on the OUCH!UK (Organisation for the Understanding of Cluster Headache) website as they are very helpful and supportive.
