Dear Genrefeem,

According to the Hughes syndrome foundation website Asprin would not interfere with any test results, but another blood thinner called warfarin would. May be you could contact the foundation direct for support, or speak to your Dr about your concerns. Hope you get the support you need.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I will take the aspirin and speak to the GP.

Hi, it's not cluster headaches I get... It's for blood thinning I would be taking aspirin.

Hi I work as an ADMIN on the Hughes Syndrome Foundation forum on HU, and no Aspirin will not affect your test results. Also on the charity website itself you will find a list of medical consultants across the UK who have a working knowledge of the disease. MaryF
