Sammy-jojo - Your family's reaction is not uncommon. The problem is that no one who has not experienced migraine has any idea just quite how dreadful it can make you feel and it is recognised by those of us so afflicted that it makes you feel irritable. As you appear to have a computer, why don't you print off one of the many descriptions of our wretched complaint, such as WebMD's Migraine Phases, and get them to read it. Perhaps then they might have a better understanding of how you feel and be a little more sympathetic towards you! Good luck. Tidewatch.

Sorry to hear that Sammy. Mine are the same sometimes, they cant 'see' the illness so assume things are fine sometimes and with chronic conditions they forget about it. Just make sure when you're feeling low that you pamper yourself a little to feel better. ((HUGS))

Hi Sammy-jojo, ohhhh I really feel for you, I have lost many great friends (so called great friends) due to being a chronic migraine sufferer, after Ia long time I just had to accept that people have no idea (or want to know) what we go through, it has made me realise who is important in my life, stay strong Sammy, :-)
