Emgality and anxiety?

I’m on month 2 of emgality and I’m starting to wonder if it’s making my anxiety and depression worse 😭

I’ve been so panicky daily. I already struggle with anxiety and depression but this just feels different.

Could the emgality be a cause? 😩

I can't speak of Emgality but I've been on another CGRP injector, Ajovy, for a year and I have real problems with Anxiety normally. I havent found the injector has made me any worse love the positive impact it has had on my migraines though.

I have this exact same issue! I’m coming up to month 2 of Emgality and I’ve been so anxious that I now can’t even leave my house without having a panic attack. Dr Google doesn’t say anything about Emgality and anxiety but I’m almost certain that’s what it is.

Omg!!! I’m so glad it’s not just me (I’m not glad you’re struggling too lol but I’m glad it’s not just me being crazy 😂).

I literally panic when I try to leave the house too, it’s awful. I didn’t find anything legit on Google either. I found some Reddit posts that had people talking about anxiety from it though so idk.

It’s a bummer tho because it’s totally stopped my migraines and headaches. So idk if I should switch up my depression and anxiety meds or the migraine shot 😭

Haha I felt the same! I thought I was just going round the bend 😂

I’m so glad it’s helped your migraines! That’s amazing! Maybe you might have to look at increasing or changing your anxiety meds because being migraine free must feel amazing!

I must admit it hasn’t done much for my chronic migraine. It appears to have cut out my severe ones but I’m still left with a level 2-5 migraine everyday. Just hoping that with time it might improve some more.

I just called my neurologist and let him know how bad it is lol so I’ll let you know what his response is when he calls back 😂🤞
