charity fund-raisers..

I really hope some celebrity's doing some sort of charity game show donate to meningitis its always some other cause we could do with the substantial amount of money. I was very shocked last year when Joe squash was on the cube ITV1 game show and him donating to another cause when he is a supporter baffling really.. what does everyone think?

I think Tana Ramsey (Gordon's wife) ran the London Marathon for the Meningitis Trust and Lisa Snowden is an active supporter so there are one or two well known people who are close to the cause so to speak. I understand your frustration here though especially when some charities spend thousands on events and stands at things like the London Marathon but when I was there with the MT we had a duck whistle and a t-shirt so at least we know the funds raised go on important things not promotion and TV adverts. The MT staff are also genuinely nice people who are really committed to making a difference when it comes to meningitis so although I'm not a celebrity I'm proud to be a supporter.
