Baby feeling grumpy after Viral Meningitis

My three week old granddaughter has been sent home after viral meningitis and just seems so fretful and unhappy! Is this usual ? Will she recover and be her little placid self again ? Any ideas? Thankyou

Yes she will...it can take many months to recover..this is not a simple injury that can be fixed..patience is the key and being there for the one that has been affected...believe me it almost killed me and the worst thing about it was that I had worried those around me most..
