Bacterial meningitis and sceptemia 9 weeks ago, still getting headaches, feeling of being permanently hung over and various other things, everyone says it will take time to feel well, how much time!! Thank-you

Hi, I was in hospital for 3 weeks in October last year two of which I was in a coma. From reading posts on here I think everyone is different. I'm still getting mild headaches dizzy spells and tension in my lower neck oh and trouble sleeping obs lol.

Ive found keeping a healthy diet training at gym and rest helps a lot.

Your body has been through so much.

I don’t know how long because it’s different for us all. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks in nov/dec with viral and bacterial meningitis.

Key to listen to your body. If you need rest, rest. Eat healthy and move your body, walking or gentle workouts initially.

I still have headaches and if I overdo it, I set myself back and spend days flat again.

Take it slow.
